That's some very foxy armour you've made yourself there.

I wish, Its for a customer. So the only thing that I will be left with after it leaves, is a sore hand and lots of pictures to remember. And maybe more experience that you gain from making it.

Boy, I hope I'm still in the queue, that harness looks fantastic! The lines are beautiful and the tassets are a great compliment to the overall shape

Wonderful job!

At one stage I did not like the upper canons on the arms, so decided to change them. Here are some pictures of the old one and of the new one.
Im not sure what was i doing by the first pair? maybe not enough beer to open the mind. hehehe

Am I missing anything? The old ones look OK to me? Is it because they are straight in the first ones?

Exactly, the fluting is too straight. Somehow it looks cold and dead.
The one with the curves look much more alive to me.

The new ones do have a nicer line.

Fantastic work on those gauntlets as always, thanks for sharing all those pictures!

And this shows that Jiri is no normal "production" armourer... going the full way to be content with your own product is something only a few people are achieving.

Howdy, You are in incredible armorer, thank you for the pics they are great. I wish I could run flutes like that, would you mind showing the stake you used and the hammer? Keep up the incredible work.

Take care

Sure, just dont look at the mess. The one is a chisel velded onto a rod and the other is a old axe.

Thanks for the additional pics. You can really see the different forming techniques on the ulna bump when looking from the inside that close.

Hi there

Hi there, Thank you for the pictures. That is the first time Ive seen or heard of an Ulna Bump. Im guessing its used as a weapon? Ive never run so many flutes like that and am wondering what you use for the final sanding to remove hammer marks. Superior angle grinding skills? Incredible armor your making there keep the pics coming if possible.

Take care

Pitbull

PS Ive never seen pauldrons like those either, very nice.

the ulnar bump is to provide clearance for the bone that projects from the outside of your wrist.
if you look about they tend to be much more pronounced on 15C Gothic armour.

I to have had a question for some time that I hope you don't mind answering... The scroll and peirce work you do... How do you cut out the details?

I gues around 13 - 14 min, maybe less. Depends on the mood and music.
Man it is easy.
