I thought the contest wass supposed to be over Dec. 31,but I was tired when I last read it,so it may have been the 13th.

You are correct it is Dec. 31st. But, since the crash of the AA, I need everyone to resubmit their entries.

Mine can be found at www.cafepress.com/riverforge

Every shirt is different so just cinsider the one you like best as athe entry....or something.

If the money votes then it is the "constantinopole" shirt that should be my entry....I have apparently sold 7 of them (but I am not making any money on it)

Do they need to be up on Cafe or can I just post a scan here??

Mine will probably make it just under the deadline.

Another Q -
Only armoury T-shirt or can I also submit the design for my Household?
Are two submissions for different entities allowed?

I still think we should have an armour archive *wet* T-shirt contest.

Not for my armoury *or* for the contest, but you may wanna check these out!
My friends are going to start selling them for a speech and debate fund raiser.

Those are very cool, Jake.
When I was in High School and on the journalism staff, we made ads for the yearbook based on the premise that sex sells.

The ad had a picture of a woman in artfully torn clothing and said in big letters, "SEX--buy a yearbook."

AND THE WINNER IS....??????

While, of course, I think that *mine* was the best ( Image), Sasha's "Constantinople" and Jake's "Machievelli" designs are cool enough that I wish I'd come up with 'em.
Suppose I'll have to buy a couple of T-shirts...
And thanks to The Warrior's Mark for sponsoring the contest. Win or lose, it was good to have the incentive to finally do something with the notions I've had floating around in my head.

And now, let's count the inaccuracies in Norman's picture... Image
Looks nice though. Finish it up, get your wife to color it, I'll buy it.

Stop bing so hyper-critical. Sure the anvil may be wrong. Sure there may be a few artistic licenses.
But dammit, the camel has the right number of humps and that is good enough for me!

I apreciate that Sasha.
Is the anvil wrong?
D'you know what a period Central Asian anvil looks like?
Hell, I work on a genuine Chinese Anvil -- very authentic, down to the "55" on one side. Image

Dmitry --
I freely admit that the combination of armour pieces is COMPLETELY inaccurate -
I put him together as interesting armour to make -- and all Central Asian origin
(on the other hand, they're all within about 100 years of each other - if you stretch just a bit - which is better than alot of SCA stuff)
BTW Dmitry - confession time - that Zertsalo (and the leg armour) is the major reason why I'm pushing to include the Ottoman period in the Kaganate.
