I am wondering what kind of gauntlets are allowed in almost any kingdom in the sca?

Ones that have rigid plates that cover all fingers and have them come down past the fingers far enough to touch the handle. Mittens work for all, but fingers can be done as well.

Would wisby gauntlets be good for sca?
If so then what is the best pattern for wisby gauntlets?

If not then what is the best pattern for mitten gauntlest?

I think you would either have to modify the fingers so that they come down to touch the handle of your weapon, or use a finger buckler, which kind of negates the reason for even having fingered gauntlets. I've never tried mitten gauntlets, but I know that they do offer better protection.

Ask Zweihammer if you need some mittens.
