Grace Holley

Post by Jetrefilm »

Yeah, she's 19. Her name is Grace Holley and she is also in Shroud. She plays one off the undead, Lady Orland.

Image

That's her from a frame in the train sequence from "Shroud."

Both Grace Holley and Nicole Leigh Verdin were the nicest people you'll ever work with. They were so patience and giving.

Good thing I'm at work, the girlfriend would be bitchin' at me looking at the pics.

Speaking of the pics; without going back to an older post regarding female armour (one lump or two?), they almost look the same as the ones in that post.

But otherwise nice work.

Lovely ladies, lovely armour...BUT-

I've got an armour related question for Ugo and Patrick.

I wanna know how you guys did those elbows in aluminum....without it cracking.....
Are they one piece, or welded?

They're raised, I just took my time & was careful. Plus aluminum is very forgiving.

I love these threads, girls in armour... *sigh*

Anyway I see your in Longview Wa, Im about 40 mins up I-5 between Rochester and Tumwater back in the woods. My uncle lives in Longview its a great area. Id like to come by sometime and see your shop in person if possible. No problem if not I dont like people off the internet coming over either :0) Excelent work on that armor, I wasnt aware you cold roll the edges of aluminum without cracking it, how do you do it?

Take care

Shroud Details

Post by Jetrefilm »

Armorers:

My first film "Shroud" is in negotiation for distribution, so it has not been "sold" yet, and consequently, will not appear on your Netflix or Blockbuster accounts yet.

Once we finalize our distribution deal, I will announce when and where you can go find it.

1024x768 screensavers are coming next week for Shroud HD.

I know I am coming late to this thread and it is kind of a weird question but here goes anyways. Does anyone know who made the sword in the pictures?

seriously?
i must be missing the joke.
my mother never had a basement and has been dead now for a few years, and i hanvn't lived in her howse in over 10 years.
she always made me do my own laundry so i guess the answer you are looking for would be somewhere around 20 years ago.
(being the last time she washed my bedding for me)
or are you implying that i am a child hiding in my mothers basement masterbating to the internet and not cleaning up afetr myself?
either way i just dont get it.

Or you could read my response to your mildly offensive PM. My laptop was stolen from my car last night or early this morning and I have been getting the best PMs and emails from people on it today as the asshat who stole it has been busy being an offensive dickhead. I have pretty much gotten all of my passwords for forums changed at this point. I hope.

Ok, Still no word on the dickhead who stole my laptop from the police even though I have an idea of who it might be.

So does anyone know or have any idea who made the sword?

I do agree about the girl being very distracting though Heath. Escpecially in the armor. There is something about women in armor. Jeeps too.

Jetrefilm is a member here. His company did the movie and he would probably be more than willing to answer your questions if he is still hanging out. Try a PM.

The Brunette is Nicole Leigh and the movie is Shroud

Post by Jetrefilm »

Hey guys:

I am the director of the film Shroud for which the armor in this thread was made. It was constructed by the very talented and industrious Patrick Thaden and Ugo Serrano. The actress is Nicole Leigh and the photography is by Gayla Partridge.

Well, this film is now available on Amazon.com if you are interested to see how the armor held up.

You can buy it here: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00AAJ1MR6

I am glad you guys liked the armor. It was fun having my childhood 'knights in shining armor' itch scratched.

Very sincerely,

David Jetre

David,

Left a review for you on Amazon.
Very interesting movie. Had a few neat plot twists that I did not expect. Not full of the usual Hollywood cliches. Yes, it's an independent film without well known leads and lower budget than the big films but still very entertaining nonetheless. And then add in an attractive lady in a suit of armor with a sword? Heck yeah!!
