Thank you all!

This will be a burgonet with a bargrill and a one piece face plate, buffe but not falling buffe.

I added some new pics in the burgonet album.

GP, that is an amazing piece of work! ! !

Had I the cash I would have to send a request for one sort of like it !

I like how high up the buffe goes it practically eliminates the need for any bar grill at all. I really think/hope that is the way that SCA armour goes, that we will be able to tighten things up to get rid of the bars.

My sincerest compliments

Now I'll have a four month break at armouring. Got a job for the whole and it starts next monday. I have a few orders waiting and I'll get around them in fall.

How much is this work of art? Absolutely beautiful.

It was 400USD with those two visors, but I think I didn't charge enough. Way more work than I expected.

Jesus, let me know if you ever choose to make another, we can talk.

...That's a bit of an understatement. If I'd gotten the whole deal for $400, I'd felt like I'd robbed you blind. I'd expect something like that to be closer to the $800-1000 range. Looks fantastic, though. Whoever got that is one lucky sumbitch.

Blind and pantsless.

Being that it's stainless, and with the high comb, and just.... yeah. Dat be art.

I'd even up your estimate by a hunderd bucks or more.

A full on grand is what this aught to be.

It is actually mild steel and I have never done a burgonet, so this is kind of a prototype.

But I'll charge more next time.

Word, my Patrick Thaden Burg cost me $800, it was mild and only had a grill:

I don't use bonerific as an adjective much.. not since Jr High back in the 80's.. But it is a very fitting descriptor for your work.

Start charging more. You put out that kind of work, and for half what it is worth, and you may get lynched. You do top end work, you charge top end prices. :)

This helmet will replace the other one I made earlier. That one came out slightly too big for the customer. Price is the same what I charged first place. It is up to him if he wishes to pay more than we had agreed. But if someone else want' one, I'll bump up the price couple hundred.
