My new crest

Hi everyone!
I wanted to show off my new crest, handmade by Payson Muller from the UK according to Il libro dell'arte by Cennino d'Andrea Cennini.
Payson has made the crests for the Edgecote tournament and after seeing his work I was sure to want one by his hand as well. It took quite some time as he had to make it in his spare time.
He made a clay model first, then made molds from the model. With the molds he made two leather halves which were handsewn together, made the ears and tongue separately and covered it in gesso and had it painted and gilded.
The results...?
AWESOME!
I'm very VERY happy with it and it will be great for the helmet presentation scenes for our tournaments. I won't use it for actual combat, but I will commission a latex version later for mounted uses.
It's based on these two sources:

Who cares about all this text? You want pictures, so here you are:

I still need to make the mantling etc. but since it was delivered yesterday I just wanted to share some pics with you. The frogmouth will be polished to match the rest of my armour, so don't mind the rust.
Here are the heraldic flag and tabard by Black Swan Designs to go with it. The set is almost complete now.
