Australian Reenactment Videos from the 1970-80'.

I wasn't quite sure where to post this.

Thought you may be interested in seeing some old videos from the birth of reanactment here in Australia. These are videos from a group called AMMAS, (Ancient and Medieval Martial Arts Society). This was started by the Harris brothers and some friends in the early 1970's. The first video is from the first Australian Medieval Conference hosted by AMMAS in Sydney in 1973.

Excuse the quality. These were originally 16mm home movies, transferred to video sometime in the late '80s and given to me by Peter Harris in the early '90s. I am in the process of transferring them all to digital and some of the tapes have degraded badly.

I will also be uploading some of my old videos from the '90s as well.

Another old one. This would be John Harris makig mail, helmets and weapons. Filmed sometime in the 1970s.
