11-1200's Norman McClellan conversion?

Perhaps someone can help me out here.

A while ago, I saved a link to a really great article on how to convert a McClellan tree into a period Norman saddle. I lost the link, and suddenly have a spare McClellan saddle tree to try it on. :oops:

Does anyone have any information on converting the McClellan into a 11-1200's Norman war saddle? I am hoping to do so before next years SCA jousting season.
