Sorta... I thought I would share a couple of pieces I've recently aquired. I think they're pretty neat, but then I'm fascinated by the history and concept(s) of reenactment.

The first piece is the "official souvenir guide" to the festivities surrounding the Battle of Hastings in 1966, the 900th anniversary. Magazine sized, lots in color. It's full of neat ads from the area, and the articles of the history of the battle and conquest are really neat. No pictures of the reenactments, since this was the brochure for it, though... man, I'd love to see some pics of that.

The second is smaller, but is the program for the memorial festivities for the 900th anniversary of Stamford Bridge, including a small reenactment carried out by military personnel in "1066 uniform" (I'm not sure what that means).

Enjoy!

"Time Machines" by Jay Anderson has a couple of chapters that are a very nice history of Re-enacting
