Picture of a Greyhound

Can someone email me a picture of a heraldic greyhound. I have been looking online and I can only find really low res crappy pictures. If the only picture you have is on a shield that would be fine. I am fiddling with my devise and I am thinking of trying a greyhound but I can't draw but I can alter digital images. If you have one please send it to the following email address.

Thanks

Try searching for a "talbot". Some of what you come up with should be recognisably a greyhound.

Um, not really.
There are two general types of heraldic dogs. The greyhound is the sleek dog shown in the attached images. The bus-line logo is actually a pretty good depiction of a greyhound courant.
The talbot is a heavier dog with a squarish muzzle, large lop ears, and a stocky body. Think of a Labrador with longer hair. Or a slightly downsized Newfoundland.

Well, I am actually pretty upset that I do NOT have my vector version of this anymore. I don't know what happened to it.
This is a device I made up to Aaron here on the AA. IIRC I sent him a copy of the vector file. You might drop him a line and see if you can get it.
If you do get it, can you email it back to me?

Donal is correct. I should have been clearer.
What I meant was that searching for talbots was likely to throw up mis-labeled greyhounds.

I appretiate everyones help. I decided to go with something else. I am not sure what that "something else" is but I am just not happy with the greyhound.
Again, thanks everyone.

Bjorn, I've been having a lot of fun recently coming up with period-ish looking devices (as opposed to blatantly SCA looking). Drop me a messege and maybe we can see what we come up with? I've been coming up with a large collection of heraldic components for the many many incarnations my own device went through. Don't think I have a greyhound at the moment, but am pretty sure I know where to find one, if you are still interested.

I don't ask you to draw EVERYTHING... just a lot of it.

Most local heralds have a bg collection of cliparyt that they have gathered over the years. Ask a local herald for a copy of theirs.

There's also

Thats what I had been thinking of, but couldn't look for a greyhound until I got home. Good to know its there. I have a couple of ideas now.

Ok, here's my first stab. I did do a cursory conflict check and didn't see anything, but that doesn't mean much.
Vairy en point argent and sable, on a chief argent a greyhound courant sable.
and also
Argent, a greyhound passant sable and a chief vairy en point argent and sable.
I apologize for my ultra-lame-o photoshop, but I'm just threw it together for the time being.
