Out of curiosity, if you cut from the right why is your left foot forward?

Because my technique sucks?
I didn't know I was on the hook to take part in that part of the demo. I hadn't thought it through much. I just took my distance where I didn't need to take a step, and took a swing.
I had a fear of setting up out of distance, stepping in, and missing, to the delight and mockery of the crowd.

If you get interested in learning alot of cuts you might wanna check out Lancelot Chan's videos. Hes an archive member and usually posts a few vids. And hes a longsword fighter to boot. I learned a few things from his videos
