There is another woods battle at Pennsic this year. Thanks to BMDL for sponsoring it. It's called the AEthelmearc woods battle and it starts at 2 pm on Tuesday, Aug 4th and goes until we run out of energy. I'm expecting ~ 4 pm.. but if people still want to fight, that's fine by me.
Go to the Southern rallying point for the regular woods battle. Depending on how many people show up on whether we will fight there (which we did 3 years ago.. great breeze in the afternoon) or further in. The goal is to have lots of fun fighting.
This is open to any authorized heavy fighter, so combat archery is allowed. It's resurrection and I'll make adjustments, if things get too unbalanced.
I grew up fighting in lots of woods battles in S.C. and N.C. It's my absolute favorite type of battle. I had a number of people ask me this year if I could make it happen this pennsic, since I did it (with help) a couple of years ago.
No war point, just for fun. The more, the merrier.. but we'll have fun regardless of the numbers.

**I almost forgot, they asked us not to clog up Currie road with cars, so use the parking lot if you need to get dropped of or want to use a car to get there.
