Making a sword shaped rattan sword?

Any "How To'" on making a sword shaped rattan sword like those shown in the 'Show your sca weapons' thread?

Isabella's sword is in my shop- it is the best rattan sword I have ever seen in my life. I'll post pics later.

Jess told me it's like the excalibur of rattan swords or something. I am dying to get my hands on it and wear it around.
