O.k. since everyone else is adding more info:
28 years old (29 next month, getting closer to death
Fighting heavy for 8 years now, rapier for about 1.5, equestrian for about 3.
I have no rank bearing fighting awards, but I do have a Principality Combattant Ram (they didn't carry any rank before we made Kingdom) and a Baronal award called the Sword of Orion, and an AOA.

5'8 or so
110-120#
I'll be 32 in a few days
I think my laurel scroll said something about use and study of historical fighting techniques, and some other A&S stuff too.
Rattan: spear for wars, sword and buckler or single sword for other play.
Rapier: 45" darkwood rapier hilted as a two hander, or a 27" schlager done up as a katzbalger, both more or less used as such rather than a rapier.
Was also doing cut and thrust / sidesword under Master Gregory Finche back when it was an experimental thing in the east eight or so years ago. I really want to look into getting back into that.

Interesting thread and I figured I would add to it especially if someone is going to tabulate the results and trend it out.
I am 40 yrs old.
6'3"
235ish (Should be around 225)
I have been fighting in the SCA for about 5-6 years total. I have only been back 1 1/2 years after a 8 year "time off".
I fight all forms of SCA Hvy rattan combat. I prefer mass weapons but I am becoming more and more fond of sword and shield.
I am currently Prince of the Summits so that would be my highest rank and will become a Viscount in Dec. when we step down.
Take care and be well,
Brogan

Despite what others might think or try to get you to believe this is a game and life is too short not to have fun playing it.

I prefer "generously waisted" good sir. I'm very generous, and I always heard generosity was a good trait to have.
Since the portly have more efficient metabolsms, add efficiency to your attributes. I heard that metabolic efficiency is an evolutionary advancement. So generous, efficient, and evolutionarily advanced. That will get you to the front of the smorgasbord line.
Leave the SCA better than you found it. Fight alot of cool people along the way.
Only the weak are cruel. Gentleness can only be expected from the strong.

My statement should be revised:
So age vs. “being generously well muscledâ€
