Or Duke Akbar, Sir Ishamel, HG Cariadoc, Earl Aelfwine, Duke Hasdrubal.
The list of the little/wiry guys is pretty impressive - as are they

Nope, you don't have to be a big guy to be a knight, (you don't have to be a guy at all) but it doesn't hurt either.

6' tall (my wife says a hair under as I've lost height with age), 230 to 235 pounds (should be 200 to 210, on my way there).
I'll be 49 years old in November. I started fighting mid 1980's (maybe 1986?)with MSR/Acre and started playing with the SCA a little bit the same year at Pennsic and other events.
Forms? All SCA legal weapons forms for heavy weapons/rattan, though I'm mediocre with a polearm, combat archery authorized (but don't shoot anyone but archers and I'm new at CA).
I also joust, but only outside of the SCA so far. Though I rode at some SCA events a long time ago and hope to do so soon now that experimental balsa tip jousting is finally being permitted in some areas (I don't care for the foam jousting, though it is better than nothing).
Titles? East Kingdom Knight, Order of the Tyger's Combattant, Queens Order of Courtesy, Award of Arms, former holder of the East's Shield of Chivalry, Mid Realm Order of the Dragon's Teeth/ MSR-Acre retired but I visit them, there I was a knight, serjeant, the equivalent of the AOA but I forget what they call it, Order of the Mailed Fist (armoring), Nameless Order (like the SCA's Pelican).

Is the SCA a better place for having you in it? If not, what are you doing there?

LOL! Sorry Thorstenn. I really felt bad about that. At Pennsic I was between 235 and 240, somehow gained weight the week before the war while eating less. Go figure..
At the time I was wondering why you were down, when you beat me in that pass and I did not think I had hit you with my spear at all. You got me and I did my best to fall down dead, I did not mean to crush your foot...
The three spear passes were a lot of fun. We must do that again sometime! Hope you are having a good time too.
Running into you and Kurn helped to make Pennsic loads of fun and very challenging. I love tough fights and people that enjoy being in them.
I'm doing well, just got done with a weekend of unexpected jousting with Acre as an emergency backup pressed into service after everybody else got hurt. I had tons of fun. Pics on a separate thread.
They had to take a belt and use two people to squeeze me into my German gothic cuirass using it like a cinch. I was 210 when it was made and told Jeff Wasson to make it tight as I planned to lose more weight. Then I screwed up and gained weight after the broken arm and rotater cuff tear. So they were in hysterics watching me get the armour on 'Breathe out!!!!!" "I AM breathing out... gasp ... sigh ..."... I thought Jeff was going to die laughing at me, it took 5 minutes to get it on so that the latch pins would be in position. It was like wearing Satan's own corset.

Wow what a thread.
6'2" eyes of blue.
200lbs of Yukon dog meat.
Not an award to my name, although some people I admire have said nice things about me.
39 years under the belt - but mostly its the mileage. I have been playing this game for 20 of them.

Back. Work was hellish recovering from 3 days out of the office. Will try to compile more data tomorrow during lunch and correct the awards snafu. Also I have a thought for a more stable way to parse the data sets before graphing that I want to play with but that is all behind the scenes and only fellow geeks would care about it.
