If I had to pick a foursome (over a year since I have seen any of them fighting...), it would be Sirs:

Thomas
Geoffrey
Valdi
Lex

With Sir Ulrich running a hair's distance away.

For the first time in a LONG time...I cannot predict ahead of time, with fairly certain accuracy, who will win.

Good luck to them all.

I think this one is more a matter of the top 3 fighters are probably known. And the rest will be the ones to take them out of the tournament.

Or, more specifically, I think it'll be a matter of who they draw in what order.

The finals were Sir Thomas and Sir Moradan - not at all surprising from this list, and a win-win for the kingdom. Apparently Thomas -2, Moradan - 1. That's all I know right now.

Congrats to them both, I'm very sorry I'm traveling for work this week and missed it. Thomas and Elisenda are fine people, and will make a great crown.

Now...this is kind of amusing.

This is the first time that someone *I* taught how to fight when they first started SCA has now won Crown.

8)

I dunno whether to feel proud or just old.

LOL - so very, very true. 8)

I just told "His Highness" (via chat) that I'm appointing myself as "Official Royal Ego Deflator" for his reign. 8)

But, in all seriousness... Congrats to him and his Lady.

More specifically: finals are best two out of three. Sir Thomas wins the first, Sir Moradan wins the second, double kill, double kill, double kill, Sir Thomas wins the third (or sixth, depending on how you count).
