Post by freiman the minstrel »

Guys,

Could somebody share the time, date and locations of Kansas City fighter practices?

I have a young woman that wants to come out and fight.

Thanks you for your kind attention,

Fighter practice, populace meetings and Curia have moved. They will be held at the Westport Roanoke Community Center located at 3601 Roanoke Road, Kansas City, MO 64111.

Populace meetings are from 7 pm to 9 pm. Garb is encouraged but not required. Fighter practice begins around 6:30 pm.

Curia is held on the second Wednesday of the month at 6:30 pm at the Westport Roanoke Community Center, just before the Populace Meeting.

Hope that helps.

It appears populous and fighter practice are on the same days. The 9th is this Wednesday. You may see about pm'ing Josh W he's in Leavenworth now just a short ride from KC I dunno if he is attending regular practices or not.

It can be a bit hard to find the first time, but if you are on Roe Blvd. (I think), you can go through the Walmart parking lot and it is a couple blocks W of it. Mapquest it. :)

I wish it was a bit closer, I'd go every week, or at least as often as I could. I've gone to the Lawrence practice, and at about 140 miles it is a long evening. KC is a bit out of 'normal' driving range for me.

Monkey-chucking darn it!

Why is it every time I hear about a group in the KC area, either I can't get a fighter practice schedule or it conflicts with my work hours?

Well, at least there's kendo. I guess I should count my blessings.
