fun times with poor mans rebated steel.

Post by Armourkris »

this last weekend My room mate and I had a few friends over, crammed them all into my spare armour and then we preceded to bash away on each other with my poor mans steel.
by poor mans steel i mean rebated machetes with basket hilts. This was the first time i got to use them for an extended period of time and damn were they fun!

Here's a few video clips from the afternoon. I personally enjoyed watching the Willy and Cody bouts, since Willy has about a foot and 80lbs on Cody, and neither of them really know what they're doing.

Yeah, but you're gonna put the spikes on the basket hilt on yours, aren't you?

I've got a whole suit of apocalypse armour, one of the bazubands that goes with it is made from the mud flap off a ranger. i used pennies for washers on it, kinda wished i had used nickels now, that would have made it more awesome.

i was also seriously considering putting a row of acorn nuts down the knuckle bow on one of the baskets, but in the end i got lazy and didn't feel like drilling the extra holes.
