Eastern Crown

Post by sarnac »

Congrats to Sir Darius Orientus who won Easern Crown for his Lady Roxane..

He bested Sir Andreas Eisfalke in the finals.

Vivat to them both.

So now both the future King of the East and the future King of the Middle both have Roman Personas....this will be an interesting War...

Sir Darius Orientus is the knight formerly known as Sir Gunther Di Milo.

He wanted to take the crown with a name that will be sure not to be rejected by the heralds, since he had been having so much trouble with his original name. The way I heard it is Darius is unquestionably documentable and Orientus means "From the East"

The final bouts started after sunset, it was dim initially and by the last fight it was dark enough that from where I was standing Count Andreas was an indistinct blur and Sir Darius was invisible. After the first fight they stopped and it appeared that they confered with HRM evidently the combatants chose to continue despite the conditions. It was the most amazing display of skill at arms I have ever heard first person.
