Has anyone seen this show on SmithsonianHD? Its in the same vein as "Reclaiming the Blade" and honestly i feel its presented better.
If you havent seen it, see if you can find a viewing of it. Seriously!

Alright, how to quantify this....
1. I am an Educated musician. I do research and read Educated Articles and watch "Educationally directed" documentaries all the time.
2. I watch _Lots_ of music documentarys of various quality as well.
3. I am biased twards good documentarys.
This one gets 3.5 out of 5 stars. The problem is it kind of winds and theres obviously about 4 more hours of material they could have added to the main film and didn't.
I mean dont get me wrong, support your scene, buy the film and a teeshirt.
Its well worth the money, but i feel there was a lot more they could have done with it. The bonuses are nice, but some of the content in the bonus section is down right silly.

Ren it, it was a good watch, but you do not need to own it. Even my old lady got into it. It is a bit light... but fun.

I got it last summer/Fall and i havent watched since last..novemember?
I will prolly pull it out soon.
Rent if you can. Buy if you must,
Buy a tee shirt from them more importantly, help support their future endeavors.
