In all honesty, I've never seen a pagan ritual at an event (unless I was doing it and I only do these at events by myself). On the other hand, I've never seen a christian ritual of any kind at an event either. Guess I'm just lucky

For some reason I'm reminded of a scene in the movie North Dallas Forty, about a fictional NFL team. The team chaplain leads a prayer before the big game, asking God to grant them peace and mercy. They all say, "Amen", then somebody shouts, "Now let's murder those cocksuckers!"

I didn't say that they weren't around. Just that *I* haven't seen them. I'm in South Ga and I'm poor, so no Pennsic for Bran yet. Maybe in my second half decade of SCA
