Howdy,

Today I hiked into downtown San Antonio with a rucksack packed full of leather, leather-working gear, the vest portion of a padded arming coat, a hammer, some punches and whatnot. I was taking the bus in downtown to go up to meet Bill and Norhala at Armourworks.

Anyway, as it turns out I misgauged the distance and the time it would take me to walk it, and for the last three miles I did a “ruck-runâ€

Watching some fighter practice videos the other day made me realize that I have a few moves were I use forward momentum to my advantage. Basically a long, low level leap forward with a swing going at the same time. With both the lead foot and the sword landing at the same time. I guess I see an opening and decide to close the distance quickly. Or I could just like hopping about like a rabid bunny on methaphetamines Image

Of course the momentum really amplifies a sword blow, just imagine the effect with a 1800 pound horse strapped to your ass at speed. Can't what to get that rush, guess all I need now is a horse.
