I'll be there! My shire is hosting the event and the fighting promises to be outstanding. Bring archers and fencers and thrown weapons!! Final field battle will be determined by the other events. I can give you more info if people are interested. Let me know.

Very nice. I'll be fighting with Wulfric and those of VDK that come. Seeing as I sold my CoP, just look for the guy with the ugliest, closed faced Spangenhelm and leather muscled cuirass. Unless of course I get the Corinthian by then.

Ulfbjorn,
I read the event listing...is there any more to tell?

No the updated description tells all. Florin and Gilder are of course encouraged to bribe all fighters fencers and archers to they're side. Rember a hungry or thirsty fighter has fewer loyalties. It should be great fun for all. See you there.

We will be there, even tho decent weather seems to be sitting this one out. Lookk for a camp that has a wall tent, fly, and a white round pavilion, and that will be me and my wife and Auto and his wife and kids camp. Pop in and say Hi! We plan on getting there close to when the site opens.
See you there!

So...how was it? The girl and I left about an hour after getting there. she was crampy, grumpy, cold and soaked, and I wasn't much better, so I had to take her home. About an hour after getting home, the goddam rain stopped. Figures.
So, how was the fighting?
Oh...and a great deal of thanks to the good Gentles that helped push my truck out of the quicksand lawn.

We stuck it out. We were very cold and wet, but our tent was dry. Sunday night we were among the few still camped on the field, but we stuck it out. I didn`t do much fighting (after the miserable night and morning, I didn`t feel like it)but we all had a good time considering.
BTW, it was the coldest day in May EVER! Hovered around 34 degrees for quite a while, rained and was windy sometimes!
