I do not allow my personal mundane issues to cloud my SCA persona -mostly because I don't have any.

I am out there to have fun, and as long as the other person regardless of his appearance and issues) is having fun without ruining my fun -then I'm a happy camper...

My only grief is that I would like to see more real armor and real looking weapons, rather then plastic suits and unpadded sticks (not refering to swords of coarse.)

Chef: Yes, indeed, I thought you were insulting Scotland in your initial post, since you addressed Vitus directly immediatly before the comment about "a country that was never quite a state." My apologies.

in the real world my daughters attend the Schade Aademy of Irish Dance (a very serious school), I contribute time, and money to groups which help provide political support for a sovreign 32 county Irish republic (no I will not debate the topic on this site), I actually do favor Guiness, and Jamesons as beverages of preference.
