Vitus

Post by sirchivalrousknight »

Greetings All who read these words!

I would like to announce that Lord Vitus,
my best friend and teacher, was put on vigil at Border Raids this past weekend for the accolade of knighthood.
I would publicly like to say that this man has a heart of gold. I have never seen a more determined, dedicated and giving person.
He took me aside and gave me purpose. He took the time to show me what really was when many would not. Thanks to him I better understand what it truly means to be a knight, and intend to follow in his footsteps.
He is to be knighted at this year's Pennsic War and I ask that all of you who attend war to please stop by and spend a moment with him.

His loyal man at arms

Congrats Vitus! I can honestly say that of those in the Midrealm there is none more deserving right now than Vitus. He has done more for the Kingdom than 10 men usually done. No one deserves this honor more..

Congratulations Vitus! Although we have never met face to face, from what I have seen of you on the Archive tells me that this is well deserved!

Congrats, and well done. Image I'm sorry I won't see your knighting, but Pennsic is an every other year type of thing.

Oh, BTW... We will all be updated on the when/where of the vigil and all that as it is known so that we can stop by at War, right?

Congratulations!
Though I have never had the honor of meeting Vitus in person his well-considered words from this board have oft inspired me to reach ever higher in the pursuit of a chivalric life.
May fortune favor you upon this new road, Vitus.

I knew about a month ago and I can honestly say that I almost did not go to my own Kingdoms War Practice to go to Border Raids to see this....but alas the Crown has its burdens.

I look forward to seeing you at your vigil and your elevation my friend.
