Hadrian's Wall Battle
Just an observation,
During the Hadrian's Wall Battle at Pennsic this year, the ressurection point was well away from the area in which waterbearers were allowed. Fighters going to res point had to walk an additional fifty meters to the water bearer point. Many didn't.
I thought that tempers appeared much more frayed during this battle than in the woods the precious day.
Or am I imagining things?

I was water bearing during that battle i just ignored what they said and walked right up to res point (maybe i helped some of you out i was wearing the green felt hat) and did most of my work by ironlance (they fought alongside my kingdom). Did i? Also was it fun? (I am still sour on the fact that i am an authorized heavy weapons fighter but i can't fight at war (am only 16) but yet the people that fought me for their authorizations got to fight (that really stung) does anybody know if i become a marshall between now and next war if i could marshal the battles? thanks

They water bearing points were supposed to be farther back due to the combat archery use. This didn't make any sense because the spectators were not kept back at the side lines nearly as far.
My issue with the battle was the lack of an up right to indicate where the 2 haybale wall that you couldn't fight over ended and the 1 haybale wall that you could fight over began. Lots of arguing over who crossed the corner.

KonBaWah Tarquin!
In the society marshall handbook they specify that you must be 18yrs old to be warranted as a group marshall or a marshall in charge of an event. But a simple marshall is probably ok. Ask the group marshall of your region... Cause your kingdoms may have additionnal rules that may be more stringent than society rules...
Hope this help a little!
