Books on fighting techniques

Post by valen »

Are there any books on fighting technniques - both lethal and non-lethal that would be useful to learn from ?

At the moment, most of what I'm doing is trial and error, based on what the more experience people I meet do.

But, I'd love to show them a thing or two also Image

I'm looking for display stuff I could rehearse with friends, relatively safe stuff I could try in one-on-one competitions, and some generic "how 14th century knights learned to kill quickly" stuff as a comparision.

ArmourArchive running gag. Krotchpunt --> A kick to the groin. Much like the "ancient WELSH art of LLAPGOCH" (The best defense is a good offense. The key to a successful offense is surpise. Therefore, attack your opponent before he is aware of your existence if you wish to defend yourself from him.)

If you want learn Krotchpunt you have to go to the source. Simply travel to the Midrealm and find Vitus at an event. Make certain your cup is stout and well positioned and then tell him you wish to learn the painful art of Krotchpunt.
