Natalia, as a note, could I suggest advertising for the 2012 event right now, as well, particularly on places like Livinghistory.co.uk?
most of the british groups are discussing what to do at the 500th anniversay of Flodden in 2013 already, and I think that part of the reason there's not been a UK response has been simply that its too short notice for them, plus there's a bit of a difference in competitive mindset between the reenactors (fight for a show) and the martial arts types (fight to win).
Advertising for 2012 might be far enough ahead that they will be able to schedule it in, and spread the event among the groups to get interest...

I actually started advertising the first festival "Battle of the Nations-2010", which took place on April,30-May,3 3010, a year ago. And then I faced a public outcry like "You've announced it too late, we need not less than a year to prepare, we can get ready to 2011...". I replied "Ok, get the ball rolling for "Battle of the Nations-2011".
I have already posted the ad on livinghistory.co.uk.
Certainly, I understand the difference in competitive mindset, it's a spread problem in all the countries which have a developed re-enactment movement, but as you see, this year we get new participants from France, Italy, Lithuania, Canada (Quebec) and the US who are aware of what and who they're going to face on the list. So, let's see...

Excellent (hadn't spotted an update on livinghistory, my apologies)
Regarding the competitive aspect, I take it you wont object if I forward the details around some of the european martial arts groups I know, see if any of them are interested?
