Rubber axes?

Post by Yoshida »

I saw a site a while back that sold a variety of rubber axe heads. They had single, double, bearded axes and a mace head and a rubber hammer head. Anyone know where this site is? It had it all on one page and said something about the "Arms Race" on it.
Thanks for the help

Bymyhanddesigns (Capt Jamie) has mace heads, among other things.

You might also be thinking about Keystone Creations, but I'm not sure they are currently in production.

Sounds like you're talking about Keystone Creations. From what I understand, they took a "break" from the business.

By My Hand Designs of Captain Jamie's is a good source for the more exotic (or period) designs if that is what you're looking for.

They had something called a lucerin (sp?) hammer. I was just double checking to make sure I wasn't senile. Crazy yeah, but not senile Image

There was a fellow at Gulf Wars selling solid rubber type pieces that you could attach to rattan than, when padded, made the weapon look more like what it should. He had halberd , hook and mace pieces. He states that the pieces DO need to be padded. However, I do not remember the merchants name. Anyone out there remember this stuff?

That sounds like Capt Jamie at By My Hand Designs. Can't be 100% certain because I wasn't there. However, I can attest to the fact that CJ does make some great period style rubber weapon heads. I own one of his maces and covet the bardiche.
