I am betting on Jason for the win!!!

Final Four:

Jason, Cuan, "da Wrath", and Val.

Finals: Jason and Cuan

Winner: Jason!!!

I see Jason unleashing years of former squire pent up anger and defeating his former Master in a blaze of mixed weapons glory.

Or not...

Has a ring of truth to it... a couple of Sapphires ago one of his former foster squires did the same thing to him in the finals so...

Sir Roland is in.

Looks we have a pretty good list here. Should be fun. I really, really hope that the unbelts come out for TOC and more importantly that my brothers in the chiv bring their armour to test them. It's a duty and a pleasure.

Nope, Vader's armour would pass the appearance laws. He is from a time "long, long, ago" afterall.... :D

Nahh, it's just his obvious and obstinant refusal to put a $2 tabard over the obvious plastic that is his body armor and thereby become "Medieval" for purposes of the Appearance Rules.

I sincerely hope we get a lot of knights and unbelts at said TOC. I've only attended one, but it was some of the best fighting I've ever been a part of.

I'm not counting anyone except you, Sir Felix, and Sir William yet. We'll just have to see who is too gassed from their crown fights to come face a swarm of hungry unbelts.

When I wrote the knights list I got the same response a couple of times: "I will if I am not Prince by then".

I think it would be an awesome statement of the Old School if the new Prince put his helm back on and took the field. But I know that won't happen. :(

Likewise, I'd really like to she His Majesty in armour on saturday but I also don't see that happening with all they have going on.

Oh well. Us poor Hedge Knights will just have to do. We few, we band of bruised brothers.... :D

Not me. I don't do that crap at events. You know it will be all over Facebook before the last blow is thrown.

Looks like I'll be there for the Tournament of Chivalry, if my finger doesn't get much worse. My squire Philip and I will likely carpool, though we probably won't make it before Crown starts.

So Amos, you can count on seeing me if you have sword blanks for me.

Good luck to those fighting and have fun at the TOC afterwords, wish I could make it down. But setting aside money and talking to Duke Malcolm and we might try and swing down for Saphirre Joust this year.

Cuan and Rob had one of the longest bouts I have ever seen in SCA fighting. Even not counting the water break....

What is interesting is that with the no thrusting rules Vlad fought undefeated until the finals fighting 2 Sword the whole way, beating Sword and Shieldmen....then Cuan mugged him in the 2 sword on 2 sword fight in the finals. :D

It felt like a very long, hot day and then we got an excellent turnout from the unbelts for the TOC, which was just brutal. I feel like a bag of wet poo today.

Thanks for being out there for the TOC, Sir Bryce. I think we were in the range of 40-50 unbelts, or so.

It was a wonderful day.

I think we only had about 10 knights out there to face you guys. It was BRUTAL.

Vlad was really on fire. It is amazing he went undefeated to the finals like that with Two Sword. If he had won with it (he might next time if Cuan continues the no thrusting rules) he will have won Atlantian crown with two different off weapons. Jees.
