Thanks for posting this. I saw myself in the background, but none of my fighting was actually captured. Anyone else got videos?

I saw Nissan get ganged up on three-on-one. It looked like he was having a lot of fun.

Max takes off his helmet and looks majestic in the distance and is probably composing a story about the Combat of Thirty that could be made into an epic mini-series with words that require a 400 lb dictionary, but every word is used properly.

Horrendous! Horrible! You had to catch me getting run down by 3-4 people and falling on my ass....

Of course, I will have to get a better look than on my android phone....

It would rock if someone (not me) got a quadcopter up and running and got an overhead view of the CotT or other SCA events.

There was a fellow with a chapel-de-fer with mail drape (like I have for my light suit). How does that work as far as shots go? I'd love to join the CotT in 2013.

Max is fat. But he's working on it.

The wide screen really widened people out Max. It just looked skewed but man the video was clear and once I mentally made everyone lose 50 lbs (camera makes you gain weight) it was beautiful. I'd love to join in on this one.

When we sparred in Atlantia you always looked like the skinny kid everyone wants to hold down and force feed burgers to.

Yes, well, I looked good doing it and happily do it again next year for the chance to fight in the CoTT again! (Everyone looked excellent and the fighting was superb!)

Watching both videos at the same time is interesting. Two different POVs but the audio of the fight is the same almost.

To be fair, I believe that the French did have the numerical superiority this time, & the English put up a valiant effort under such odds. They could have gone for some quick, cheap kills to even up the sides, but held their ground & fought as true men would.

I wonder if there is a setting on Youtube that allows you to view the wide format. On both my wide screen monitor and television there is no distortion (fat packing). You would expect that with the banding at the top and the bottom that the Youtube version would be the same ratio.

I cannot understand why it makes people look fat. It must have something to do with the transcoding that Youtube uses.

Yeah, that was me.

This was the best fight I have ever been in! The whole war was full of great fights but the CotT was just the pinicle for me! Nissan is just plain awesome as well, Just so you know Drachenwald is already amassing stores of Beer and Bacon for next year!
