The friday torchlight tourney was won by Thane Ulfgar Throvaldson, for which he was awarded a tooled leather faced scutum. The Grand Tournament had Duke Sean Kirkpactric Terragon meet Sir Kjartan Dagarson in the final, and Duke Sean immerged victorious, earning a wood clad ice chest. The Grand Champion (judged on many categories including kit and heraldry) was Duke Tiernan Mor Dal Cai, for which he recieved the champions cloak.

My appologies for any misspellings.

The Grand Tournament was held Saturday afternoon. There were 90 fighters in the list. After a couple of preliminary rounds it got down to the Sweet Sixteen. From this point the list was single elimination, best 2 of 3 fights. The Sweet Sixteen was legendary. I couldn't quite remember all of them, but these were some of the folks remaining:

Duke Sean
Sir Kjartan
Duke Tiernan
Sir Octamasades
Sir Attaius
Duke Almaric
Duke Cedric
Duke Ulsted
Vsc. Ralphael the Rogue
Sir Rauokkiin
Sir Jost
Eric Deagarson

My apologies to the remaining four. I had my hands full :D

The Grand Tournament at Sport of Kings is always an awesome experience.
