Jaeger Knives Sword?

Hi All-
I've got a sword I bought many years ago with a Jaeger Knives label on the blade. A quick Google search turned up a website for Jaeger Knives, but it really doesn't look like the same type of work. Can anyone tell me anything more about the manufacturer and what I might expect out of the blade?
Thanks.

There used to be an SCA blademaker that did stock removal swords and knives by that name. I bought a sword and dagger set from them over 25 yrs ago at Estrella war. At the time, I was given to understand that the Adria people were using them for rebated steel combat, and they had a fairly good reputation for durability.
The sword I have is pretty, but not particularly well balanced, and a bit on the heavy side. The edge is not sharpened, but left slightly under 1/8" thick. I've never used mine for more than a look pretty piece. I suspect it would make a good prybar.

Don't hit anything with it! It is more a piece of jewelry than a sword. Nice jewelry but not functional in any way really.
I have 2 jaegers and a condor (Jaegers brother) and they are not meant for doing anything with other than looking pretty. Very few of the Jaegers I have seen ever were designed to actually be used for anything other than decoration.

Strangely, just had a facebook conversation with Vitus that centered around my Jaeger sword.
Though it might not be perfectly legible in the picture below, the sword in my hand is my Jaeger blade.
I also bought mine about 25+ years ago at Pennsic. At the time, I believe they were state of the art for SCA cutlery. I bought it for decorative purposes and never had nor have any intention of using it for serious hitting... and for the intended purpose, I still think it's great.
