Armored combat at martial arts event?

Post by ervald »

Hi everybody. Ervald the Optimistic here. I am planning on going to Battle of the Nations, I have my armor on order from IceFalcon and bought my plane ticket to the training in Sprngfield.

In the mundane world, I train and compete in Brazilian jiu jitsu and am sponsored by Acom Sports. They have invited me to do a super fight grappling match at their next "Fight Night" tournament in Long Island or Fishkill, NY, and I suggested that we could have, for the first time, and armored combat match on a martial arts fight card.

This would be an opportunity to promote the Battle of the Nations tea, and armored combat in general, to the martial arts community. The question is, do we think that we could sell enough tickets ourselves in the NYC area, would enough more people come to this event if there was an armored combat match, that would give me the leverage to pitch such a match?
