The US team is learning. A lot more attempts to blindside.... more focus on knocking people over. Better awareness..... good job USA!

My guess is that it's some tree that is letting go of its spring flowers and that is what we see.

Hope the man is ok or at least will be soon.

Poland 1 vs. USA 3 to finish last match, I think. Which was a draw then Polish win.

I don't think the Big Heater Shields are the way to go in the future. Seems like they are getting hung on everything and people are using them against the players.

Eventually I'd like to see an injury count by type, team, etc... I think Team USA is behind in the standings but WAY ahead in the injury rate (as in, the injury rate for Team USA is low).

Yeah, I would be curious about that too. Kinda like to see how many and how serious the injuries are overall as well.

Can't seem to find the report from Ice, but last I saw we had one double concussion, one broken nose, one break in the foot area, several bloody noses. Wish I could be more specific.

Why the heck is there a cannon on the field?

Its a cannon and early firearm demonstration.

The cannon part was actually really kind of cool. They had a pretty high rate of fire. I was counting about 6 rounds a minute. Which is pretty good considering.

and round two...

Poland Win!

(figured if I put as much gusto into a USA win, I have to do it for Poland too, they have been one of the more sporting opponents thus far I have seen.)

That was VERY impressive vs. the Ukraine team, especially after a two minute rest after fighting the Russians.

I am even more impressed by the fence as it withstood the entire Polish 21 team climbing onto it after their match with Russia.

However, it would be a pain to transport...
