Armour kit will probably remain pretty much the same.
I need to get arrows... both for target and for hunting. Got a new bow. Plan to do medieval hunts, participating in St. Hubert's Rangers.
More garb... linen and wool.
Tweak my winter gear... figure out a good binding system for the skis.

1. Make a brigandine. Preferably period accurate, with tinned spring steel plates from a local armourer, realistically a look-alike with fabric shell and plastic plates. =/
2. Arming doublet to point armour to/replace simple white shirt I've been wearing, preferably rapier legal also. Yay sewing. -.-
3. Make/buy a gorget that looks good and doesn't choke me and cramp my jaw.
4. Find a shield that finally freaking works for me...

make my travel kit a bit better looking. with all the costs associated with flights going up I can't afford to use my heavier/normal stuff anymore. Unless at an event I can drive to. That kit is sorted, but the lightweight kit needs some work. Oh yeah, and just get off the couch more.

What do you resolve to finally finish this year?
<snip>
I a committed to my return to armoured fighting after my hiatus. Part of this is building up a good working harness that both performs well in SCA combat and has the correct presentation.
Although I'm starting out building around a 'basic' helm to build around, it's just a starting point and will eventually be replaced with one fitted to me as I'm going to do with the rest of the harness. My previous ones were often 'close, but no quite' and functioned.
My first parts are going to be what I can get my hands on that provide protection during practices (which will be many and long!) while I'm building/bartering/buying the correct ones to replace them and let me get into tourneys/melee. So simple concealed gear (leather, linen/wool & treated steel) for a simple presentation and able to hold up multiple weekly practices. Biggest parts will be a good subarmalis with pteruges (to eventually have a lorica squamata overtop) along splint forearm & shin protection. A decent pair of calceus (boot), braccae (full pants) & tunica (shirt) for comfort as well. An effective gorget concealed under my focale (neck scarf) should work well for portrayal and protection.
I'm finishing up collecting examples of which I want to go with as well as sources for purchase if possible, if not, I get to do some living history reconstruction on what I might need.
If anyone knows someone looking to change out their harness and is interested in parting bit of it out, send 'em my way!
P.S. Oh and for the while, I'll be, Scipio known as 'Bunny', until my return to the One True Century!

I plan to continue my slow progress on my late 15th century German kit.
Progress is slow and expensive but the finished result will be glorious

The helmet is nearing completion the new arm harness and cuirass are planned for this year.
Legs will have to wait
I also have the ambitious goal of doing a grounds up living history 1390-1410 kit.
I have wanted to do this for years but have put it off pending completion of the late 15th century kit.
There have been too many invitations to Deeds of Arms and Tournaments that I have been unable to attend from not having a kit from the correct time frame. I have an event in April 2016 to aim for.

I plan on doing a small overhaul of my kit. It's long term though. Dunno if I'll finish this year.
