Battle Sceranios at Gulf Wars?

The descriptions on the web pages are a little light on information...

What the heck is a Moat Battle? Or Protect the King for that matter...

I'm not sure about the moat battle, but I do have this info:

Protect the King - War Point The scenario will involve the Kings of
Trimaris and Ansteorra (or possibly more), who carry swords and shields and cannot attack each other. You also have the following:
There will be 12 Champions at a time on the field to protect the king and kill the other teams' champions and king. The champions are armed with glaive, spear, or two-handed sword. After one of the kings is killed, the side that killed him is replaced with a second string of champions. (This allows for a brief break and an opportunity for more people to play). The kings can attack the enemy champions. This event will last an hour. When you have cycled through all of your champions, you can then rotate them back in, in order 1st string, 2nd string, etc.

The moat battle is a bridge battle, without archery, where you can only use 2-handed weapons (and no shields). I am wondering if secondary weapons (eg daggers) are allowed though.
