splicing a spear

Post by losthelm »

how does one go about finding a splice for a spear?

this is for sca combat.
having truble finding the insert made from fiberglass rod.
can I use uhmw of some type and just have one machined my self or does it have to be fiberglass?

how much should I expect to pay for a splice kit from sca merchants?

I would rather not splice the spear but I need it to fit in to the truck and close the cap for traveling.

Yes, it is very cool...

But write the sales department and ask them if they have any in stock.
