Of course you can show up. Hence the phrase "14th century armor is *
encouraged *", NOT "required".

Josh, go outside in your armor.
Run through the sprinkler a few times.
Let your armor sit until the weekend.
Problem solved, your armor now looks older.
My 10yo daughter says I'm pretty!
