Cross Posted for His Majesty Cuan:

Unto Our Royal Cousins Berus and Marion, King and Queen of Fairest
Ealdormere, and Unto the Mighty Kings and Gracious Queens of the Knowne
World, do we Cuan and Padraigin, King and Queen of Atlantia Send
Greetings
this 22nd day of June, Anno Societatis XXXIX.

We have received Ealdormere's Challenge sent with utmost pride and
respect.
For the latter respect we give you our thanks and say that it is
returned
tenfold. Well do we remember the heroic champions battle commanded by
Ealdormere's Queen, wherein, inspired by her prowess and beauty,
Atlantia
and Ealdormere fought side by side against adversaries fierce and
honorable
and by God's grace were awarded the victory. We do also remember the
army
of Ealdormere storming the game trail and shattering the enemy that
harried
Atlantians returning with a banner. We know well your champions like
Sarnac
and Aaron, Roak and Eduard, Cennedi and David, to name but a handful,
and we
hold that they are examplars of chivalry. And the glorious music of
Ealdormere is sung even here, far to the south of your northern realm.

As for pride, we return that as well. Just as you are proud of the
strength
and skill of your noble people, so do we wish to honor our good squires
and
men at arms who are yet striving for the honor of knighthood.
Therefore, we
shall select fifteen squires worthy of the honor and send them forth to
answer your noble challenge immediately following opening ceremonies at
Pennsic War. Our champions will come to the field armored at all
points and
equipped with knightly arms and will not quit the field until they have
contended against all those teams assembled for the purpose.

We thank Your Royal Majesties for providing the unbelted champions of
the
many kingdoms the chance to display their prowess and courtesy and do
hope
that all who participate will gain great honor thereby.

Done by Our hand, this 22nd day of June, A.S. XXXIX.

Cuan and Padraigin
