This was probably the best news I've had all week. Colin was the first fighter that ever tried to teach me anything other than how to get hit a lot. Many people that know us both say I fight a style very similar to him (though that's hardly fair to Colin
).
It is extraordinarily gratifying to see him get the recognition many of us felt he has deserved for a very long time.
Thank you for posting this here. I had only heard ithe news from one source and am glad of its confirmation.

As his founding Baroness, and former wife, all I can say is that it couldn't have happened to a nicer guy. Colin has radiated Knighthood all the time I have known him.

While I haven't seen him fight recently, due to my not traveling enough, I was impressed with what I saw. I'm pretty sure that I was the first to bring him up in a huscarl meeting a couple years ago, and was happy when he got that.
This is very nice!
