It is important to go back over the safety rules one extra time with soldiers that are within twenty four hours of their return from Iraq. Especially if they were working toward authorization (for the first time) when they left.

The same is probably true for persons who have gotten out of prison in the last twenty four hours.

I got hit in the faceplate four times with a sheild on Sunday (my own steel shield). The fighting was great, if a little painful. I did get to feel my own ribcage flex a couple of times. You don't normally get knocked down while fighting SCA style.
