Has there been any experiments of different kind of bows shooting different war arrows on different kinds of armour?

For this forum, I think Russ Mitchell is your man. Hopefully, he will see this thread, and respond. If not, you might look up his profile on the AA, and Private Message or e-mail him. He spends quite a bit of time out of the country.
Good luck!

Well, I'd like to say he'a an International Arms Merchant dealing in medieval-related and recreation arms, but that could be a bit far!
I actually don't know what his regular vocation is, but he at least is occasionally is in Budapest, and has gotten bows that were actually made over there. There is a thread he started over in the Classified section on somethingf he is/was looking to buy, so you can get his contact info there.

DSJ,
Here'a a little tip for using the Armour Archive Forum: When you post a thread, try to put as much information as possible into the title of the thread. That way, you will attract people who have something to offer on the subject, instead of the odd passer-by who wonders what "question" is being asked. Doesn't that sound like a good idea?
Cheers,
Tim
