Italian War scenario

I tried to get the Lilies War committe to take this up, but without avail:

Each of our baronies would take on the role of an Italian City-State.

If your city was destroyed-you were out of the war. And of course, you could not attack an enemy city without first moving through their territory

Each would be allowed to determine what their actions would be that day. These could be:
1)defend their state (no movement, but you would get an advantageous position if attacked)
2)move through a friendly, allied state (no fighting required)
3)move into an enemy state (must be victorious or get booted out)
4)attack an enemy city (must assault a fortification-if victorious, decapitate that city and add their recruits to your own)

The MIC would gather all of the general's orders, and figure out what scenarios would be played out on the morrow.

Each general would be allowed a certain number of resurrections for the entire war. Additional troops would be gathered through diplomacy, and resurrections could be spent to buy reenforcements.

The idea being, there would usually be only two or three cities fighting in any particular battle. This would allow people to get to fight with all their buddies throughout the war-no one is stuck on the same side for all five days of fighting.

That sounds incredibly cool. Whose fault is it that it's not going to happen?

Could have fit in fairly nicely with this years theme.
