Anyone have an opinion of Lindholm & Svard's interpretation vs. Tobler's?

I personally like Lindholm's better. I think its more clear. There were a few things I didnt agree with in Toblers that i feel Lindolm does better.

I haven't seen Lindholm's second Ringeck book yet, but I actually like both his first work and Tobler's. The interpretation differs somewhat as does the style and approach of each, but I've gotten a lot of good use out of both and continue to do so. I do really like the illustrations in Lindholm's work though, the graphics, like arrows describing the movements of the weapons, and footwork diagrams, really help to convey what is being done better than just a series of photographs.

I like and use both books a lot. I personally consider Lindholm's book to be a little better than Tobler's book. I actually use both books along side the Goliath manual, often laying out all three togeather. The images of Goliath is many times better at showing <u>proper</u> body position then either the images of Lindholm or the pictures of Tobler. A major problem I often see people make with both books is that they focus too much on the interpretation rather than the actual words of Ringeck. Ringeck is the master.

Lindholm's new book should be a great resource.
