"Go Red for Women" Deed of Arms

Greetings,

At the request of my Lady, I have decided to perform a Deed of Arms until the next 12th Night in the Roaring Wastes/Cynnabar area (Middle Kingdom centric).

This Deed is to help raise awareness and funds for the Go Red for Women campaign.. a part of the American Heart Association. The Go Red for Women campaign is specifically aimed to raise the awareness of heart disease in women.

As fighters, many of us fight to gain renown for our Ladies. I can think of no better way to show our support of them than by helping this campaign. Heart disease is the #1 killer of women in America.

I will be making donations of $1 per bout that I perform. Other donations are requested of those who wish to contest with me. There will be a Deed book to record the names of those who support this cause.

We will have tokens to give to any person that helps us support this campaign.

If you are not a fighter and wish to help... find a fighter to contest for you. If you are a fighter, bring your Lady/Lord with you to witness this.

I will keep a list of events where this Deed has been approved to be performed that I will be attending posted/updated so that persons may have an opportunity to meet me in the lists.

A noble cause. Perhaps, some good gentles from other kingdoms could act as your stand-in and raise even more money.

I'll bet that you'll find, as I am finding while building up to conducting my own deed, as was suggested by Sir Bryce to others, I am feeling changed by the experience already...

What would be your intended event path over the next few months? I would like to coordinate my own so that our pathes may cross.

Who on this board does Viking, lives in or near Middle Kingdom, and plans to attend Vikings Come Home? I would like to find someone who can meet him as my second in this matter, without taking away their chance at taking part in the Deed at 12th Night, if of course, Gilebert is amenable to such an arrangement.

Thank you for your support in this Deed.

Let it be known that any person, who is acting as a Second for someone who can not meet me personally, can meet me in this Deed multiple times.

If persons wish to help this cause, they can also meet me more than once upon the lists for the duration of this Deed.

edit: You may also want to post on a similar thread on Legiodraconis.com. That is more local to me and you should be able to fins someone there to help you.
