Your turn. Post a pic of you and another archiver together. Say something about them. Good or bad, I dont care. I just love seeing pics of people. Dont you?

Myself and Alric who posts on here occasionally, believe his tag is also Alric. Alric is the one with our AEthelmearc Heavy Champion shield, and also our newest knight as of 2 weeks ago.

This is me, in blue, standing next to Johann "Yo-yo Fortyhead" Coldiron. He is a generous host of me, and my armor, every Pennsic.

We are standing across from Nissan "Evil Red Devil" Maxima. His armor makes him a target, which is the single malt scotch of honor in our sport.

The pic is of myself and Tristram at Estrella, during his second reign, wherein I was his Thegn. He lurks here but posts so infrequently even I don't remember his AA name. This is the man responsible for initially teaching me to fight, for giving me the foundation I needed to keep doing what I'm doing for the many years I have. And even today, he is still a great sounding board for matters both martial and philosophical concerning the SCA. If you've never met him, on the field or off, I highly recommend an introduction.

Me on the right, my knight Kolfinna, "kottr" on the Archive, and my squire brother Secca, who's not on the Archive AFAIK. Kolfinna and a bottle of alcohol have convinced women from all parts of the Knowne World to show me their boobies.

I would like to get a picture of me and Duke Darius.
Every interaction I have had with this man on the field inspires me. I will never forget when he gave me one of my most memorable moments when I was standing alone against his forces in the woods, and he offered me single combat with a Duke from Ansteorra and an arrow flew out from his men as I came forward to accept and he growled that that archer was going to die by his hand.
The mighty duke and I fought before his men and a gathering force of Middle soldiers. We struck each other instantly and both fell. Both sides cheered.

It is one of the greatest moments of my career as a fighter. I wish I had a picture of he and I for my home.

This is me and Lord Thomas the Black at the KC RenFair in 2004. He makes some excellent riveted mail.

Image

This is me and Patrick Kelly at a Wichita RenFair last year. He has the most awesome Norman kit, and an incredible collection of spiffy weapons.

http://www.mediumaevum.com/josh/PatGregandI1.jpg

This is me and Benedek a couple weeks ago. He has just knocked a spear out of my hands while we were goofing around in a parking lot. He is a very enthusiastic and talented fighter.

This is me spanking Doug Confere at a pool hall a few days back. Doug is much more soft-spoken than his Archive persona would suggest.

This is me and Meinhard115 at what I think was his second fighter practice one hot summer day in 2006. He is in loaner armour. He has come very far since then.

Actually there is more than 2 archivers in the pic. The blue fellow grabbing you is Duke Donnigal Ericchson(sp?), Donnigal on the AA I think (Not to be confused with Donngal). The purple guy is (at the time HRH) Semjaka wholelottaconsinentstogether. Semjaka on the AA I think.

This is Pirho (blue helm nice tunic) and Me (red helm/ugly stuff)
This was taken at the Fall Crown tourney in a Bye fight, typical of us headbutting each other.

Pirho is known in the Society as Lord Horace of House Serpentius. When I walked into my first practice in SCA and he was there to greet me. When I needed to borrow garb for my first event he was there to lend me his. He's done so much for me in the SCA with me starting out and even to this day that I wouldn't be where I was today..
Throughout my brief SCA life Pirho has been the one guy who is behind me every day, pushing me to my best, always throwing out great critique and criticism. On top of all the great things that I've gotten out of SCA I've earned a real friendship out of a great dude.

... Sean of the Chippendales, while I'm having a Pennsic Bad Hair moment...

He's there almost as much as Anjouleme when it's time to cause some trouble (in a good, harmlessish sort of way, of course)

She makes me feel not too tall. There's other comments too.
