Wow, sounds great! I wish I could make it. :(
Will this be the first event the public gets to see your new harness, or will you be out for the Amercan Sword of Chivalry Tournament with it?

Hi Lee !

Will ride him first time in Poway.
It's only the WE prior !!!

But other surprises will hit the Belgian event.
We have lots of never seen or heard of competitors that I spent a year drafting for the event.
It's fun to see different styles meet in the arena and to hear "wow!" in the mouth of competitors themselves.

New events :
- Legal head target jousting
- Multi weapons armoured ground combats
- 15thC Danse competition
...

Will be fun.
Do I sound enthousiastic ?

You make me envious is what you do. ;)

Someday I might be able to travel to see Hackaland, but till then I'm just thrilled that Jeff and the rest of you have started doing jousts and tourneys here in the U.S.

See you in April!

Lee

Is that pic to scale? Because if so the Bar is larger than the area marked combat. Which is my kinda event!

Believe it or not... it really is to scale.

Another wonder about european tournaments... NO beer zone (nor stupid regulation that goes with it !). You just have it where you feel like it as long as not a nuisance to others.

Ok. Final kill...
Bar on map is only the official party bar... vendors also provide their own take away products like Mead and Hypocras in all three colours !
Did I mention competitors travelling from all different countries also bring some goodies in their bags ?! Let's think of what the Poles will bring this year.
There truely is nothing like a good tradition, right ?

Let it also be said that a lemonade booth will also be set up by the kid zone... to keep them from interrupting the bar and the tradition stuff ! :D :D :D

Cheers,
Fred
