Gilebert: Schedule Day for the 30?

Post by Johannes »

Do we have a day set for the 30, yet? I have been asked by people coming in just for this event who need to be able to schedule their travel.

It has always been immediately following opening ceramonies

though last year it was put opposite 2 other large melees

which frankly was stupid

As it cut down the combatants for all 3

Right now.. I am working on the schedule.

If I go with right after Opening Ceremonies, it will be against the 15-man melee and the Lost Boys Kamikaze Battle.

So... I think you see what I am up against...

what else is schedueled that day?

Is there a reason for them to be at the same time?

If not start em an hour or so apart or even further

more people get in more fighting and you need fewer marshals

I should add that the time for Opening Ceremonies has not been set yet.

And that makes any plans moot until it is set.

If you need a sponsoring group, The Barony of Cynnabar - Midrealm would be more than happy to lend their name to such an auspicious event.

Last year the sponsoring group was the Barony of Cynnabar.

Speaking of that, are we doing the Baronial Champions again?

If so, I should sign us up for it ASAP.

The 30 and Known world Baronial Championships are simply my fav, thanks for sponsoring them both.
I wish those 2 events and the Warriors of history were all on the same day.

Not impossible... but damned awful tricky...

if there was a day with no war point battle about mid-week... Start the day with the KWB Champions, move to the CotT and finish with the WoH!

Other wise it would have to be the Saturday before War Week.

That would be a great day indeed.
Do it the same day as the non warpoint castle battle and It would be heaven.
Everyone from the 30 could unite as a free company and storm the castle.
Now I am dreaming out loud :)

Will do...

I am trying to make it so that the HCS will.would be at about the same time daily... and the same list.

I will send you a *VERY* rough schedule this weekend.

I have to ask that this not go public... yet!

Thanks.

I have had to start telling people to plan for the same time as usual for the 30, is that going to work out? Plane tickets have to be bought for those of us on the other side of the country...

I have planned the 30 to happen on Sunday from 1 to 3pm.

Yes... this will be going on at the same time as the Lost Boys battle. Can't be helped... unless I move the 30 to Saturday or later in the week.

WoH will follow the 30.

Gilebert.

Thanks. Sorry to be a pest on this, but we on the left side of the country have to plan pretty far in advance to get everything in a row for Pennsic.
