Any news on the Greybeard Tourney at Pennsic?

Hello,

A friend asked about the rules for the Greybeard tourney at Pennsic this year. The description at the Pennsic web-site is rather lacking and my search-fu found nothing useful on the archive. Can someone direct me to information regarding this battle or post it here?

I haven't heard anything. Syr Bear is my grand-knight and my lady usually does the refreshments...and we haven't heard anything yet. I guess we'll see.

I never received a request for the Grey-Beard Tournament this year.... Nor did I know who to contact about it.

I know there is one scheduled for Rapier... (Seniors Tournament)

The rapier tournament...is it specifically titled the gray beard tournament? If so, it's most likely mislabeled.

Last time I talked to Bear he said that he is not running it this year. Hopefully it will return next year.

Nope.. it is listed on the schedule as... "Seniors' Tournament " ... Monday, August 4

I guess that answers that. Could be because Syr Bear is on the shelf at the moment. Hopefully it comes back next year.
